Running the Study
Preparing for the first session
This is a very brief overview. For a more extensive overview, please download our leader’s guide.
- Market your Bible study (click here for marketing tips)
- Order a DVD set and one set of materials per student. View our Bible study materials here.
- Prayerfully choose your facilitators.
- Meet with facilitators within 2 weeks of your start date, distribute materials, and explain their role.
- Divide people into small groups
- Map out small group locations and determine logistical needs (chairs, tables, etc.)
- Have facilitators call group members welcoming them and giving pertinent info for first night
- Pray for your students and facilitators
- Communicate with participants instructions/directions for first night
What does the first session look like?
- Greet participants
- Hand out materials
- Introduce facilitators
- Give intructional overview
- Move to small group for introductions and instructions from facilitator
- Watch introductory video
- Dismissal
